The Conneticut polls are a little disheartening, though I'm going to hold out hope all the way until Tuesday. You've got Ned Lamont, a great Democrat, vs. lying, possibly criminalRepublican, Joe Lieberman. Lieberman could be worse, I guess, it's just hard to see how. His prominence in the media and seniority in the Senate make him a figure that affects politics everywhere, in general for the worse. Lieberman's FEC committee donor list alone tells part of the story of why and who he's really working for, and so we might as well just let the money talk ...
